Alex Siboe

Alex Siboe is an Innovator, fintech enthusiast and the Chief Information Officer at Stanbic Bank Kenya a member of the Standard Bank Group SA. Alex has over 20 years of leadership experience in the banking and telecommunication (mobile) sectors working for the following reputable organizations- Stanbic, 4G Capital, KCB Group Safaricom, Communication Authority, Huawei and ZTE Corporation.

Alex possesses comprehensive set of skills and expertise in Technology Innovation and Transformation, Financial Inclusion, financial and strategic people management. In addition, Alex honed my skills in Fintech, Technology Governance, Strategy & Innovation, Service Level Management, Risk Management & Cyber Security, Technology KPI and Performance Management, Technology Systems Procurement, Contract Management & Partnerships, Stakeholder engagement, Product Development and Project Management. Alex holds a BSC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and an MBA from the University of Nairobi.

Alex is a Member of the IEK (Institution of Engineers of Kenya) and holds the following leadership training and certifications; Innovative Business Leader- Stanford University, Senior Leadership Development Program- Deloitte, Business Analysis Certification- George Washington University, MSP – Project Management Certification and MIPM- Project Management Certification.

Alex enjoys walking/jogging in the forest/hills, reading, traveling and spends majority of his free time over the weekend supporting kids at Ufasimba soccer club- Nairobi.
