Leopold is a self-driven; results-oriented and strategic Information Systems, Digital Banking and Transformation Specialist with about twenty-four (24) years of professional experience in delivering advanced solutions and implementing both technical and business strategies for major entities. He has an enviable mix of experience, and versatility in addition to a remarkable track record in the digitalization of both the Public and Private sectors of the Ghanaian economy, particularly within Telecommunication, Banking, Pensions, and Insurance sub-sectors. He has a wealth of skills centred around designing, setting up, re-engineering processes, managing cross-functional digital projects, and an ability to lead and interact effectively with people towards a desired goal.

Leopold is presently leading a team that is envisioning and implementing Prudential Bank Limited’s Digital Transformation Strategy over the past three (3) years, resulting in a quick rollout of various cutting-edge solutions, making the Bank an emerging force within the digital space noted for extending tailored services to both internal and external partners and consumers.

Prior to joining the Bank, he worked with Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited initially to restructuring and repositioning the Technology Group from system focused to business and result-oriented entity, and later setup the Digital Banking and Alliance Division leading to the achievement of several industry recognitions over an eight (8) year period.

Among others, he also worked with SSNIT Informal Sector Fund, Central Governance Project of the Office of the President as the MIS Consultant. Among others, Leopold was adjudged, the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Year 2017 during Ghana Information Technology & Telecoms Awards (GITTA). An individual award in acknowledgment of contribution and achievements within the industry. Additionally, he was part of the five (5) distinguished Ghanaian Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and Information Technology (IT) professionals who made entries into the 2020 edition of the World CIO 200 Awards, another milestone for the country since joining the network in 2018.
