Chinyere Tony-Eke

Chinyere Tony-Eke is a seasoned Digital Banking professional with almost two decades of experience in the financial services industry.

Currently serving as the Group Head of Digital Banking at Globus Bank Ltd, she has a proven track record of driving innovation and delivering results.

Chinyere’s extensive expertise spans across various facets of Digital Financial Services, including product leadership, business partnerships, issuing and acquiring services, and customer services.

Her career trajectory includes leadership roles at Fidelity Bank PLC as the Group Head of Corporate E-Services and E-Banking Sales, and at FSDH Merchant Bank, where she established the Channels Group as the Manager of E-Channels and Distribution. She has also held key positions at Access Bank Plc and Diamond Bank Plc, consistently demonstrating her ability to lead and inspire teams.

A creative and forward-thinking leader, Chinyere is known for her problem-solving skills, innovative approach, and strong emotional intelligence. Her unwavering belief in finding solutions, regardless of complexity, has been a driving force throughout her career.

Chinyere is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in Strategic Management from Rome Business School, further enhancing her other academic credentials, which include an MBA from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State and a BSc from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State, along with numerous professional trainings.
