Laban Nyarera

Laban Nyarera is a seasoned IT & Cybersecurity professional with over twelve years of extensive experience in the areas of IT, cybersecurity management & banking operations. He with in depth knowledge on technology & banking domains. He is currently the Chief information security officer (CISO) for Family Bank Kenya Ltd. In the past, he has worke in various roles within IT, IT risk and cyber security domains within the banking sector in Kenya. Laban holds Bachelors in Computer Technology and has also undertaken several professional certifications in IT & risk such as CISM, CISA among others. He is also finalizing his Master’s degree in information systems security at Strathmore university.
