Darren Franks

Darren is a thought leader in talent acquisition with a specialist focus on the African FinTech sector and launched TalentintheCloud in 2016 to help FinTech’s accelerate their growth by acquiring and retaining key leadership talent. In May 2022, Darren joined the FinTech Association of South Africa as currently serves as its interim CEO.  

Darren supports numerous professional groups focusing on diversity and financial inclusion across the continent including being a strategic partner and Ambassador to the AWFP (African Women in FinTech & Payments Network), male ally to the EWPN (European Women in Payments Network and Payments Network) and Findexable’s Ambassador to Africa.
