David Breetzke

A passionate payment professional with an accomplished career in the South African payments industry, focusing his career on new products, innovation, partnerships and governance. David has a credible track record in delivering payment strategies, developing market research, and solutioning key payment partnerships. He continues to drive the industry payments modernization journey and represents Absa at multiple industry bodies and regulator engagements. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Finance and Investment Honours degrees from the University of Pretoria and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS).
