Dr. Reda Helal

Reda Helal is the Managing Director – Group Processing Business, Africa & Co-Head Group Processing Business. He leads a client-focused business unit serving financial institutions, fintechs and payment partners. Reda has been with Network since 2007 in several roles, most recently partnering with our KSA team to launch our business there and being the Group Chief Sales Officer – Processing.

Reda has an extensive experience in digital payments, fintechs, financial inclusions, and cashless societies initiatives. He has over 22 years of sound experience in these domains alongside Strategic Planning and Execution, New Market Entries and Leadership Practices in multinational payments organizations such as First Data / Fiserv, as well as multinational banks across Middle East, Africa and North America such as Citi, Arab Bank, and others where he held various leadership roles.

Dr. Helal holds a doctorate degree from the prestigious University of Liverpool, UK. And a Master degree from York University, UK. He is married with a daughter.
