Paul Mugambi

Paul Mugambi is the Chairman of Kytabu Company Ltd, and with over 20 years in innovation within the telecoms industry, Paul was the founder Senior Manager in charge of Digital Inclusion department at Safaricom Ltd and prior to that the Senior Manager of Value-Added Services at Safaricom where he oversaw innovation. Paul has led innovation in financial inclusion solutions where he led the creation of Orange Money which was the first mapped bank account mobile money service in Kenya which relied on agency banking.

Paul holds double Master’s degrees in Project Management and in Information Technology Management both from University of Sunderland in the UK, and a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering.
