Mr. Sello Boshomane is a Payment Systems consultant working on the SADC regional integration initiatives. He has over 18 years of experience in business analysis and central banking, over 8 years in the National Payment System, and 3 years in Exchange Control. He was a member of the core team that implemented the SADC RTGS, formerly known as SIRESS. He was also in the project team that designed the SADC harmonization of Exchange Control Balance of Payment (BOP) codes and implemented the core reporting system for Common Monitory Area (CMA) member states. He was the core member of the low-value credit transfer/Transactions Cleared on an Immediate Basis (TCIB) design and implementation team. He holds a BCom.Hons degree in Information Systems and various post-graduate qualifications. He is a certified business analyst and project manager by trade. He is currently working for the SADC Banking Association responsible for coordinating a portfolio of Payments projects in the SADC region.
