Sephutile Mhlongo

Sephutile Mhlongo is an Economist and former Policymaker from the Kingdom of Eswatini. She is currently employed as a Manager, Financial Regulation and Supervision with Digital Frontiers, where she contributes to capacity building efforts focused on digital financial services regulation and policy development for low-to-middle income economies. Her experience spans from increasing access to education, healthcare, social housing, public financial management and more. She has previously worked for Eswatini’s Ministry of Finance where she contributed to the formulation of the macroeconomic fiscal framework through tax revenue forecasting and medium-term budgeting. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Eswatini and a Master of Business and Management from the University of Stirling.
