Ulrik Tobias Peter

Ulrik Tobias Peter is the head of digital, alternative channels and transformation (VP) at National Bank of Commerce embracing business innovation and agile way of working. He‘s overseeing innovation unit, ATMs, card business, digital customers migration, sky branch, Contact Centre & CLM. Since the financial industry is very volatile, Ulrik believes that technology and innovation are no longer the enablers but the drivers of any financial industry in this information age. Ulrik holds various professional certifications including a certified agile practitioner (Scrum Master) from Scrum Alliance, bachelor’s degree in computing, mathematics and information technology; and he’s currently pursing Master of Business Administration. He has much experience on advanced IT and software developments accomplished the most user-friendly mobile banking solutions in Tanzanian banking industry. Out of working hours, Ulrik prefers to visit fintech workspaces/coffee shops to meet up his fellow young Tanzanians for aspiring them on innovation projects they are doing and trying to exchange ideas.
